Since 2002, MSCI’s microsatellites and MicroWheels (reaction wheels) have consistently demonstrated an outstanding flight heritage on their respective missions.

To date, MSCI has sold dozens of MicroWheels to multiple customers. Of those MicroWheels, half have been launched and are operational in orbit, with over 65 years of accumulated flight heritage and 21 billion revolutions without failure.

MOST’s extraordinary flight heritage – still producing outstanding results four years longer than expected – provided the credibility of our microsatellite design, resulting in the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) awarding MSCI the contract to design and build the NEOSSat microsatellite, expected to launch in late 2010.

MOST’s innovative design provided the blueprint upon which MSCI’s cost-effective, Multi-Mission Microsatellite Buses (MMMB) are based. With the selection of MSCI’s MMMB design as the baseline for CSA’s microsatellite programs going forward, MSCI is positioned as the premier Canadian provider of microsatellites.
